Some pet images work exceptionally well larger than life, and I’ve had the opportunity to paint a couple of cats (TJ and Tobey) at a slightly exaggerated scale. This striking pose captured by Vy of Churchill (aka Chewie) was another great one for this.

I’d met Chewie before and he had a combination of intensity and playfulness that made this image stand out to me. Here’s some of the early layers on this one!
